Inspired by the beloved “Twas The Night Before Christmas” story, I’ve created a printable template, so all you need to do is print the file, grab some gray craft paint and have your children add their footprint to complete the “Christmas mouse” themed craft. It’s so simple, you have NO excuse NOT to do it!

Footprint Christmas Mouse Craft Supplies:
* Free Template Printable {download HERE}
* White Cardstock {affiliate link}
* Color Printer
* Gray/Pink Craft Paint
* Paint Brushes
* Paper Plate
* Baby Wipes
* Wiggle Eyes
* Adhesive
optional – embellishments like glitter, rhinestones etc.
Directions:
* First download the “Twas The Night Before” printable. Print in color on white cardstock.
* Grab your gray craft paint. Paint your child’s foot completely gray and press it in the center of the printable. Remove excess paint off their feet with baby wipes and soap/water.
* Now grab some gray and pink craft paint. Paint on embellishments to turn the footprint into a mouse {like ears, a tail etc.}
* Next glue on the wiggle eyes so your mouse can see.
* Set aside to let it dry completely.
* Add other embellishments you see fit, as well as having children sign the bottom.
* Then display/gift away your footprint mouse art piece proudly!
