Handprint Christmas Tree Potholder Keepsake Gift Idea

Handprint Christmas Tree Potholder

Give the gift of a handmade Christmas this year with this easy and adorable potholder craft idea! Kids will love making these for family and friends.

Craft Supplies:

  • Fabric Potholder
  • Fabric Paint {green being the most important!}
  • Paint Brushes
  • Baby Wipes
  • Paper Plate
  • Trash Bags/Newspapers
  • Cute Little Hands

Directions:

  • First lay your potholder on a flat surface, on top of some clean, trash bags or newspapers. This is to protect your work surface!
  • Pick a hand! Paint your child’s hand completely green and press it in the center of the potholder. Lift up the hand and clean off excess paint with a baby wipe.
  • Now grab your remaining paint and draw on Christmas embellishments to give it some festive life!
  • Once done, let the paint dry completely before using or storing your potholder!

{I recommend hand-washing these so they are good to go for years to come!}
