Semi-Homemade Crème Pie Handprint Turkey Treats

Crafting delicious, impressive Thanksgiving party favors and classroom treats does not need to be time-consuming or extra expensive either! It only takes a few minutes and a few inexpensive supplies, to recreate our Oatmeal Crème Pie Thanksgiving Treats – I promise!!

In the big scheme of things, the simple embellishments you will add to each pre-packaged oatmeal cookie treat might look like small details but the lucky receiver will surely be impressed!

Oatmeal Crème Pie Turkey Treats

Make Thanksgiving extra special by turning simple pre-packaged Oatmeal Crème Pies into Handprint Turkey Treats with this simple handmade add-on idea!!

Treat Materials:

  • Pre-Packaged Oatmeal Crème Pies
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Pencil or Pen
  • Paper Scissors
  • Loose Craft Glitter
  • Large Glue Dots
  • Red Tulip Puffy Paint
  • Orange Tulip Puffy Paint
  • Eyeball Stickers

Directions:

  • First things first – the handprints!!! For each turkey treat, you will want to trace/trim out your child’s handprint.
  • Decorate the cutouts with glitter or other embellishments {or leave plain if you choose too.}
  • Set aside to let them dry completely.
  • Once dry, add your handprint to the back of the oatmeal pie with a large glue dot. Make sure it’s really secured in place.
  • On the other side of the crème pie, use your puffy paint to draw on a face for the turkey.
  • Go ahead and also add on the eyeball stickers
  • Set aside your finished Handprint Turkey Treats to let them dry completely {an hour or two} then gift away!!!
