Handprint Rocket Keepsake - You Rock Gift Idea

Invest some quality time with your kid this afternoon, as you make them a piece of art that they can proudly display anywhere they want or gift to someone special any day of the year!

Craft Supplies:

  • Rocket Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Orange Craft Paint
  • Paper Plate
  • Paint Brush
  • Baby Wipes
  • Scrapbook Stickers
  • Sharpie Markers

Directions:

  • First print out the free rocket template printable on white cardstock. You only need ONE print per craft. Feel free to print as many as you like but only use our file for personal use.
  • Squirt some orange craft paint on a paper plate.
  • Paint one of your child’s hands and press it on the printable, next to the rocket to create flames coming from it. Repeat if desired.
  • If desired, while the paint is still wet, add some loose craft glitter on top of the “flames.”
  • Clean off excess paint from your child’s hand with a baby wipe and quick trip to the sink.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit to the printable {like using scrapbook stickers or markers to write out YOU ROCK}
  • Set aside to let it all dry completely.
  • Then display and/or gift away your handprint rocket keepsake paper piece proudly!
