Paper Plate Lego Character Head Craft

Today I present to you our Paper Plate Lego Head kids craft idea! It’s absolutely perfect for boys and girls alike to love and enjoy making together! My little family is already pretty big on Lego themed stuff, so to say we are a little bit excited for upcoming movie release would be a major understatement!

So if YOU have a huge building brick lover in your house like I do – I’m sure you are biting at the bit to learn all the details on this Lego craft idea. On that note, don’t delay! Let’s grab those craft supplies and find all the instructions below, on how to “build” your own one-of-a-kind Lego head from tissue paper and a paper plate, within minutes!

Check out this fun paper plate yellow Lego character head craft idea for kids! It’s perfect for a party or just a rainy day craft activity.

CRAFT SUPPLIES:

  • Large Paper Plate
  • Yellow Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Craft Scissors
  • Yellow Cardstock Paper
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Black Cardstock Paper
  • School Glue
  •  Stapler

DIRECTIONS:

  • First cut two small side pieces from the paper plate, to give the look of the Lego guy’s head.
  • Next have your children paint their paper plate piece completely yellow.
  • Set aside to let it dry completely.
  • While they are working on that, cut out some facial features from your cardstock, as well as two yellow rectangles that will go on the top and bottom of the paper plate.
  • To finish off the Paper Plate Lego Guy craft – have children glue/staple on the cardstock pieces in the designated spots.
  • At this time you can also add other embellishments you see fit {think crazy hair, hats and even different facial emotions to really make it your own!}
  • Then display proudly for all to see!
