Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!
Directions:
- Start by adding a generous amount of paint to the center of your paper plate.
- Use a spatula to spread the paint evenly until the entire surface of the spatula is covered.
- Now for the fun part—use your paint-covered spatula as a stamp! Press it onto your blue construction paper to create two to three square designs. Let the paint dry completely.
- While the paint dries, use a heart-shaped paper punch to cut out one heart for each groundhog—these will be their snouts. Then, cut out two small teeth shapes for each groundhog.
- Once the stamped designs are dry, it’s time to assemble! Glue a heart shape and two teeth onto the center of each stamped square to form the groundhog’s face.
- Add wiggle eyes, dot stickers for noses, and small cutouts for ears to complete each groundhog.
- Your adorable groundhog designs are now ready to display or use for a fun craft project!
