Craft Supplies:
- Shaving Cream (unscented, white foam-type works best)
- White School Glue
- Our FREE Smores Printable – on our landing page
- Brown Cardstock Paper
- Paintbrush
- Small Bowl
- Scissors (safety scissors for younger children)
- Optional: glitter, googly eyes, or embellishments if you want to add flair to your craft
Directions:
- To make puffy paint for the marshmallow filling, mix equal parts shaving cream and school glue in a small bowl. Stir gently until the mixture is well combined. Bonus tip? Add glitter for a sparkly effect or a drop of vanilla extract for a subtle aroma—it’s sure to delight kids!
- Next up – using a paintbrush, apply a thick layer of your puffy paint mixture in the center of your printed printable. This will act as the gooey marshmallow! Get creative—the thicker the layer, the fluffier your marshmallow will look.
- Finally, add any other embellishments you see fit. At this point in time you can add some loose craft glitter, stickers, wiggle eyes – the choice is yours!
- Once done decorating, allow it to dry completely before displaying proudly for all to see.
