Before we dive in, let’s get all our materials together. Having everything ready makes the creative process smooth and enjoyable. You likely have most of these items around your home already.
- Snowman Face Printable – from box.com
- White Cardstock Paper
- Small Paper Plate
- Craft Paint {one to two different colors}
- Potato Masher
- Black Marker
- Embellishments
Directions:
Now for the fun part! Follow these simple steps to create your own potato masher stamped ear muffs. This is a great opportunity to let kids explore colors and textures.
- If you haven’t already – go ahead and print out our free printable, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper. You need one print per craft.
- Now squirt your craft paint on the paper plate.
- Have children dip one potato masher into the paint {smear it around} then stamp it on one side of the snowman face design in the printable. Repeat for the other side.
- If desired, while the paint is still wet, go ahead and sprinkle loose craft glitter on top for a little added sparkle.
- To finish off the Potato Masher Stamped Snowman & Ear Muff craft, take the marker and draw a “C” shape to to complete the design.
- Then set it all aside to let it dry completely, before displaying proudly!
