Popsicle Stick Snowman Picture Frame Ornament

This adorable snowman frame is perfect for displaying a favorite photo from the year, making it a personal and heartfelt addition to your Christmas tree.

Craft Supplies:

Grab these materials to bring your Christmas photo ornament to life:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – four per craft
  • White Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Snowman Printable – from box.com
  • Crayons, Markers or Coloring Pencils
  • Scissors
  • 4×6″ Printed Picture
  • Embellishments

Most of these materials are common craft supplies you might already have at home!

Directions:

Let’s build your snowman! Follow these simple steps to bring your ornament to life.

  • Paint the Sticks: Start by painting all four of your jumbo popsicle sticks completely white. Set them aside to dry.
  • Assemble the Frame: Once the sticks are dry, it’s time to build the frame. Arrange the painted popsicle sticks to form the snowman’s body, which will also serve as your picture frame. Glue them together securely, leaving an open space in the middle for your photo.
  • Prepare Your Snowman Pieces: Grab your snowman design printout. Color in one head, two mittens, and two boot shapes. Once they look just right, carefully cut them out.
  • Add Your Photo: Select the picture you want to display. Trim it down so it fits perfectly inside the frame’s center opening. Turn the frame over and glue the photo onto the back.
  • Decorate Your Snowman: Glue the snowman head to the top of your frame. Then, add the mittens and boots to complete his look.
  • Add a Hanger: If you’d like to hang your creation on the Christmas tree, simply glue a loop of ribbon to the back of the frame.
  • Display: Now you can display your beautiful snowman picture frame proudly for everyone to enjoy this holiday season!
