Directions:
Get ready for some hands-on fun! Follow these easy steps to create a vibrant, textured avocado artwork your child will be proud of.
- First things first – print out the provided blank kite printable listed above, on a single piece of white cardstock paper.
- Next up, help your child cut/tear their two colors of construction paper into small pieces.
- Now have them use school glue to glue those pieces inside the “kite” design.
- Once the kite design is completely filled it, help them trim it out from the paper. Discard excess paper.
- The final step is to have kids add their own personalization, as well as helping them add the “string” that you would typically hold when the kite is in the air.
- When they are done decorating, allow the finished kite torn paper designs to dry completely before displaying proudly for all to see.
- Be sure to also snap a photo and share it with the hashtag #GluedToMyCrafts or tag us to showcase their beautiful artwork. We’d love to see what they create!
