Popsicle Stick Easter Bunny Picture Frame Craft

Celebrate Easter with a fun and adorable craft project that your kids are sure to love! Today’s popsicle stick Easter Bunny picture frame is the perfect way to get creative, spend quality time together, and make something truly special.

Whether you’re looking to decorate the house with handmade treasures or give a heartfelt gift to family and friends, this craft idea is both simple and memorable!

Craft Supplies:

  • Jumbo Popsicle Sticks – four per craft
  • School Glue
  • White Craft Paint
  • Paint Brush
  • Free Bunny Printable – from our spring landing page
  • Paper Craft Scissors
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Crayons, Markers or Coloring Pencils
  • 4×6″ Color Picture

Directions:

  • First things first – making the picture frame. Grab your FOUR popsicle sticks. Glue them together in a square formation so you have an opening in the center, for your picture. Allow it to dry completely before moving on to the next steps.
  • When it’s dry enough to move, go ahead and squirt some white craft paint on a small paper plate.
  • Have children paint the front of their popsicle stick shape completely white.
  • Set it aside to allow it to dry.
  • While they wait, have kids color/trim out ONE set of bunny ears and feet from the provided printable.
  • To finish off the bunny craft, assist them on gluing their paper pieces to the front of painted wood picture frame, as well securing their printed picture to the back.  You might have to trim your picture down a little to make it fit in the frame but this can be done with scissors.
  • Once done decorating the popsicle stick Easter bunny picture frame and it’s completely dry, display it proudly for ALL to see. You can either prop it on a shelf as is or hot glue ribbon and/or magnets to the back!
  • Don’t forget to snap a few pictures of your child’s craft stick bunny frame to share with us on your social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
