Directions:
- First print out the provided FREE gingerbread man shape that is listed above in the supply list.
- Using your scissors, trim out the design, as well as the center of it.
- Now grab your contact paper and cut two pieces the same length out. You want both pieces to be bigger than the original cookie design.
- Take off the protective paper from one of the contact paper sheets and lay it on a flat surface, with the sticky side up.
- Go ahead and lay your gingerbread cutout in the center of the contact paper sheet.
- Next sprinkle a little bit of glitter inside the design. Spread it around with your fingers.
- Now take small squares of brown tissue paper and place them inside the gingerbread man cutout, until he is completely filled in.
- When done, grab the remaining piece of contact paper and also remove it’s protective sheet.
- Lay it on top of your decorated design, sticky side down. Make sure every corner is stuck together.
- To finish off the craft, use your scissors to trim out the gingerbread man shape. At this point in time you can add coding labels, wiggle eyes and a little dab of puffy paint to really bring him to life.
- Then display your stained glass Christmas gingerbread man piece proudly on a window.
- For an added touch you can add a hole punched hole to the top and string some ribbon through it, for hanging on the tree.
