All you need is paint and paper to bring this melt-free idea to life today!

Snowman Christmas Card Craft Idea For Kids

With these easy steps and the complimentary 2024 snow globe printable included below, you can effortlessly create multiple Christmas cards with your child in just a few minutes.

Simply download, print, and have your children add a fingerprint-painted snowman to the center of the snow globe design. That’s all there is to it!

Craft Supplies:

  • UPDATED Printable – on our landing page
  • Light Blue Cardstock Paper
  • White, Washable Craft Paint
  • Foam Paint Brush
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Baby Wipes
  • Sharpie Markers
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First grab the 2024 keepsake printable listed above in the supply list.
  • Now print out the provided Christmas file on a single sheet of light blue cardstock. You only need ONE print per craft.
  • Next grab your white craft paint, as well as your foam paint brush and paper plate.
  • Squirt the craft paint on the paper plate.
  • Pick one of your child’s index fingers and have them rub it in the white craft paint.
  • Working quickly, press down {and wiggle} their painted finger in the center of the snow globe design.
  • Carefully lift up your child’s hand from the printable and clean off the excess paint with a baby wipe & a quick trip to the sink.
  • Allow the paint to dry completely before decorating it to look like a snowman.
