Get creative with your little ones this holiday season! Have fun making this cute Pinecone Wreath craft made from paper plates, perfect for a festive decoration.

Paper Plate Pinecone Wreath Craft Idea

Need a super quick craft idea for the kids to do during the busy holiday season? This adorable paper plate pinecone wreath is perfect for any age and will keep your little ones entertained!

Let their imaginations run wild as they make a beautiful paper pinecone covered Christmas wreath that will add some festive flair to your home!

Craft Supplies:

  • Large Paper Plate
  • Brown Cardstock Paper {two sheets}
  • Pinecone Printable – on our landing page
  • Craft Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Red Craft Ribbon
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first – cut the center of your paper plate out, leaving a ring for the base of your wreath.
  • Discard the center of the paper plate.
  • Now for the paper pinecones – go ahead and print out TWO copies of our provided printable.
  • Trim out each pine cone design from the printable for your wreath.
  • Next up, start laying and planning out the different pieces to be on your paper plate wreath shape.
  • Use your stapler to staple them in place, around the rim of the plate.
  • At this point in time you can also add add in your rhinestones and various embellishments.
  • Once the plate is completely covered and there are no blank spaces on the paper plate, staple on a ribbon “bow” to the bottom or top of the wreath to complete the Christmas pinecone wreath craft.
  • At this point in time you can also add a smaller piece of ribbon to the back of the paper plate, for easy hanging.
  • Then display your beautiful pinecone cutout wreath proudly for ALL to see!
