Fingerprint Snowman Cards - Winter Kid Craft Idea

Thumbprint Snowman Cards For Kids To Make

Here’s a fun and easy craft for kids that they can do to celebrate winter! All you need is some cardstock paper, white craft paint, and your pointer finger. This kids craft is so easy, you really have NO EXCUSE not to make a few today!

To complete, just dip your finger in the paint and then press it onto the paper to create the snowball effect. Once you have enough snowballs, decorate them into a snowman design and let them dry. You can even add some facial features with a black marker. This makes for a great homemade card that your child can give to friends and family.

It’s the perfect winter kids craft that will get you and your child excited about the snowman season! So what are you waiting for?! Get those creative juices flowing and let the flurries begin!

Fingerprint Snowman Card Craft Idea

All you need is some cardstock paper, white craft paint, and your pointer finger. This makes for a great homemade card that your child can give to friends and family. So gather up the supplies and let the kids get creative!

Card Supplies:

  • Washable White Craft Paint
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Cardstock Paper
  • Basic Craft Scissors
  • Sharpie Markers
  • Baby Wipes
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first – squirt your white paint on a paper plate.
  • Use my pictures above for examples but basically you want to make THREE fingerprints in a line, on a piece of a dark shade of cardstock.
  • When dry, take your markers and draw on embellishments to give them the look of snowmen {don’t forget his hat and arms!}
  • The last step is to trim down/add your decorated piece to a card front for easy mailing!!!
