Paper Doily Polar Bear Valentine Card

Have you started thinking about crafts and activities for Valentine’s Day yet? If you have young children at home, coming up with kid-friendly Valentine’s projects can be challenging.

They need to be simple enough for little hands to handle, but still special and festive enough to get into the spirit of the holiday.

This paper doily polar bear Valentine card craft is the perfect solution. it uses basic materials you likely already have on hand to create adorable cards your kids will love giving to friends, family, and classmates.

Craft Supplies:

  • White Paper Heart Doilies
  • Blue Cardstock Paper
  • Gray Cardstock Paper
  • Craft Adhesive
  • Scissors
  • Large Glue Dots
  • Heart Shaped Chocolates
  • Large Wiggle Eyes
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • First things first – use your tape runner to adhere your paper doily heart to the center of your cardstock paper. This is the bear’s head.
  • Grab your gray cardstock and scissors.
  • Cut out TWO half circle ears and a nose piece.
  • Glue those in place on the heart shape.
  • Following that, use a large glue dot to add your heart chocolate to the center of their face.
  • Now take your wiggle eyes and adhere them on as well.
  • Add other embellishments you see fit – like bows, glitter etc.!
  • Finally – it’s time to give your polar bear valentines away!
