Turkey Decorations Made From Wood Slices
As you may already know, a DIY Thanksgiving lets you create one-of-a-kind decorations, as well as making memories crafting with your children or grandchildren.
Today’s Wood Slice Turkey Decorations kid craft idea is super simple and won’t hit the piggy bank too hard either so I hope you are inspired to add it to your holiday to-do craft list!!!
Inspired by the craft materials I found in the aisles of my local Michaels store, I was able to create these turkey themed pieces with my son, within minutes! We are talking EASY SUPPLIES and STEPS! The end result is darling AND perfect for kids of ALL ages to make this Thanksgiving season! So let’s get our crafting on & celebrating!!!

These turkey decorations are a great craft to do with the kids leading up to Thanksgiving. These easy to make Thanksgiving decorations are perfect for adding a festive touch to your home, office or school. SUPPLIES:
- All you need is a few flat, circular wood slices, our FREE turkey feather printable, crayons, scissors, Tulip puffy paint {affiliate link on Amazon} and a hot glue gun to make it happen!
- You can of course add other embellishments to really glam it up for your Thanksgiving plans!
DIRECTIONS:
- To recreate – simply hot glue your colored in craft feather cutouts to the back of your wood slice.
- Then take the puffy paint {or craft paint if you like} to draw on a simple turkey face to the opposite side/front of your wood slice.
- The last step is to set it all aside to let it dry completely, before displaying proudly!
