As you may already know, a DIY Thanksgiving lets you create one-of-a-kind decorations, as well as making memories crafting with your children or grandchildren.
Today’s Wood Slice Turkey Decorations kid craft idea is super simple and won’t hit the wallet hard either so I hope you are inspired to add it to your holiday to-do craft list!!! #gluedtomycrafts
Inspired by materials I found in the aisles of my local Michaels, I was able to create these turkey themed pieces with my son, within minutes! We are talking EASY SUPPLIES and STEPS!
All you need is flat, circular wood slices {any size, found in the wood aisles – affiliate link to many choices} craft feathers, black/red/orange puffy paint {affiliate link} and a hot glue gun to make it happen {feel free to glam it up with other embellishments as well!}
To recreate – simply hot glue your craft feathers to the back of your wood slice. Then take the puffy paint {or craft paint if you like} to draw on a simple turkey face to the front of your wood slice. Then set it all aside to let it dry completely before displaying proudly!
You can also easily turn these Wood Slice Turkeys into gift tags by hot gluing ribbon OR adding magnets to the back so you can add them to the fridge. So many ways to take your finished pieces to the next level, so I hope it inspired you today!!! Happy crafting, my friends!!!
