Let’s BOO-GIE with some awesome craft time today! I absolutely love a good, simple kid craft idea and today’s Paint Splat Halloween Friends activity checks off ALL the boxes for a good time!

Innovative & Original Paper & Paint Splat Halloween Friends

Paint Splat Ghost, Pumpkin and Frankenstein

Using simple craft supplies like Tulip puffy craft paint, cardstock paper and even some glue – these masterpieces are sure to get those “spook-tacular” craft juices going!

No two pieces will be alike and that’s what makes it even MORE perfect! The age range is pretty limitless {even I as a adult enjoy making these} and the supplies are inexpensive too!

To recreate these Paint Smash Halloween friends – have children fold a simple piece of cardstock in half, open it, squirt paint on one side and close up again to “squish” around the paint. Then once done with that step, open it up again to reveal the “splat” design inside. Then decorate with various embellishments to give them life {see below pictures for examples} and display proudly for ALL to see!

Be sure to also check out our Halloween section on Glued To My Crafts for even MORE crafty ideas to recreate this season!!! All of which would pair nicely with today’s crafty idea!

Happy crafting, my friends!!! Please don’t forget to share pictures of you and your child’s creations on our Facebook page! I can’t wait to see your paint splat creations! – Stacey #gluedtomycrafts

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
