"T" is for Tractor - Kid Craft

Tractor Craft Idea For Kids

Just because school is currently out for the summer, doesn’t mean the learning fun has to stop – especially at home! Am I right?!

So on that note, this morning my son and I pulled out the craft supplies and we made popsicle stick ” T” shaped tractors to practice words that start with the letter “T.”

This “T” is for Tractor kid craft idea was super fun and rather easy for my six year old, especially since he’s really into anything with wheels these days {typical boy!}

If you would like to recreate it with your child today, keep scrolling for the full green tractor tutorial from us!!!

The HOW-TO:

  • You can make the same popsicle stick tractor themed craft with your child by gluing TWO green jumbo popsicle sticks in a “T” formation in the center of some colored cardstock paper.
  • Then add various cardstock embellishments like big circular tires, a simple seat and a steering wheel to bring it to life. Finish it off by having children draw a person in the tractor seat to bring it all together! Don’t forget to draw on the “road” too!
  • Easy peasy – just how we like it around here on Glued To My Crafts! Stay tuned for MORE simple kid craft ideas to make this summer and beat those boredom blues!! Several of our upcoming ideas will only have a handful of materials and steps {like today’s simple post!}
  • Happy crafting {and learning} my friends!!!

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
