Make It Your Own Today – Please keep in mind that there are endless possibilities on how to decorate these easy snowman puppets. Just because I listed the supplies above, doesn’t mean you should be limited to those. Feel free to raid your craft stash and make them as custom as you like! PSST – if you are looking for a perfect circle template for the head of the snowman, raid your kitchen for a small lid that can be traced on your white craft foam!
Directions:
* First things first – squirt some white craft paint on your paper plate.
* Use the foam paint brush to paint ONE side of your wavy craft stick completely white.
* When done painting, set it aside to allow it to dry completely.
* Next up – grab your sheets of craft foam and colored cardstock, along with your scissors.
* Start by cutting out a small circle for the head of the snowman from the white craft foam.
* Follow that up with his hat from the black.
* Then cut out his scarf and a small hat embellishment from the remaining colored cardstock.
* Now grab the black and orange Sharpie markers.
* Use the markers to draw on a snowman face on the white craft foam pieces you just cut out. I did a triangular orange nose and some dotted black eyes & mouth.
* At this point in time you can also draw on some buttons on the painted wavy craft stick.
* Once done, you are ready to assemble your snowman puppets! Get the glue gun hot and ready & grab all your pieces.
* Hot glue the circular face on one end of the painted wavy craft stick.
* Now glue your black hat on top of that and then the scarf piece under that.
* To finish off the your Craft Foam Snowman Puppet, cut a long piece of brown raffia ribbon and wrap/tie it around the center of the puppet. This will give the look of his arms.
* Add anything else you might like {maybe some stickers or custom embellishments!}
* Then play and/or display proudly for all to see!
* Don’t forget to share pictures with us our finished snowman wood stick puppets with us on your various social media sites! #gluedtomycrafts
