With the end of school quickly approaching, why not surprise your graduating kiddo with this fun and festive paper plate graduation emoji craft?!
Craft Supplies:
- Large or Small Paper Plate
- Yellow Craft Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- Red Puffy Paint
- Black Puffy Paint
- Black Cardstock Paper
- Craft Scissors
- Stapler
- optional – twine or ribbon to make a tassel
Directions:
- First things first – squirt a small amount of yellow craft paint in the center of the paper plate.
- Have children use the foam paint brush to paint their paper plate completely yellow.
- Next up – take the puffy paint and draw on an emoji face on the painted paper plate.
- While they are working on that, cut out a graduation cap from the black cardstock paper.
- To finish off the graduation emoji kid craft idea – staple the cardstock hat onto the decorated paper plate.
- At this point in time you can also make a small tassel from ribbon or twine & staple it to the hat as well.
- Allow the paper plate piece to dry completely before you display it proudly for all to see.
