Zombie Apocalypse Survival Kit – The Whys, Hows and What To Include!

I personally love showcasing other people on the Glued To My Crafts Blog. I’ve met some great people this way!

Recently I “met” Miranda through the blog grapevine and she asked if she could guest post on my site, to share this emergency kit idea with you all today.

Who am I say no when she is sharing this brilliant Zombie Apocalypse Survival Kit? I think this could be great as a fun deployment care package {look away husband!} Take it away Miranda!

Zombie Apocalypse Survival Kit Idea - Original Guest Poster

I’m Miranda, a proud military spouse who blogs over at Hurry Up and Wait USMC about the randomness of my life! I’ve recently made the move from MN to CA to be with my husband and since my arrival I’ve been experimenting more and more with crafting, sewing, and cooking!

Today I would like to share a craft idea that I cannot personally take credit for. It was a birthday present to me this year from my in-laws and I thought it was brilliant!
A lot of us have some sort of emergency kit in our home already. Whether it’s in your car, home, cabin, boat, etc. it’s a great thing to have just in case anything ever comes up or a big emergency happens.
Recently my in-laws thought it would be a good idea for me to have an Emergency Survival Kit of my own!

But not just any kind of kit, for just any type of emergency but a kit for when the Zombie Apocalypse comes! On that note, you should know that I am a huge zombie fanatic, nerd, freak, however you want to classify my obsession.

Anyways.. I now have my very own Zombie Apocalypse Survival Kit and I’m going to share a few things you can include in YOUR very own supply box! Keep scrolling for EVERYTHING you need to know and to include in your own kit. I hope it comes in handy for you!

Craft Activity Safety Guidelines:

Always Ensure Adult Supervision - Young children should be supervised at all times when engaging in craft activities. This is essential to keep them safe and ensure materials are used correctly. Use Age-Appropriate Supplies - Choose craft supplies that are suitable for your child’s age. Check labels for recommendations and avoid items with small parts or sharp edges for younger children. Modify as Needed - Feel free to adapt materials or steps to meet your child's abilities and safety needs. For example, substitute scissors with safety scissors if necessary. Keep an Eye on Allergies - Be mindful of potential allergens in craft materials like glue, paint, or certain fabrics. Opt for non-toxic and hypoallergenic options whenever possible. Organize and Secure Supplies - Keep all craft tools and materials organized. Store sharp objects, small parts, and potentially hazardous items out of reach when not in use. Following these guidelines will ensure that crafts remain fun, creative, and, most importantly, safe for everyone involved!
