Using simple materials like a pool noodle and green dot stickers, you can create your very own “green eggs” while sparking creativity and imagination. It’s a great way to combine crafting with story time fun!

Materials Needed:

  • A pool noodle (cut into a small, donut-shaped piece)
  • White paint
  • Grey cardstock or construction paper
  • Green dot stickers
  • A paper plate (for paint)
  • Optional: Apron or smock for kids

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Stamping Tool: Cut a pool noodle into a small, donut-shaped piece. This will be your stamping tool.
  2. Set Up the Workspace: Lay down some newspaper or a protective sheet to keep your workspace clean. Pour a small amount of white paint onto a paper plate.
  3. Stamp the Egg Whites: Dip one end of the pool noodle into the white paint, ensuring the edge is evenly coated. Stamp it onto the grey cardstock to create circular “egg whites.” Repeat to make as many as you’d like.
  4. Add the Green Yolks: Once the paint is dry, place a green dot sticker in the center of each white circle to represent the “green yolks.”
  5. Let It Dry: Allow the craft to dry completely before displaying or gifting.

Don’t let the fun stop here – here is another Green Eggs craft to try today! Recently we also used a flat spatula to recreate green eggs on paper. Just stamp the design using your spatula and then draw around it with a green marker. Easy peasy!
