Paint Splat Love Monster Craft Idea For Valentine’s Day

Looking for a monstrously fun craft to make with your little ones this Valentine’s Day? Our Paint Splat Love Monster craft is the perfect mix of creativity, color, and cuteness! This easy and kid-friendly activity lets children unleash their imaginations by creating unique, loveable monsters using just paint, paper, and a little Valentine’s Day magic.

Whether you’re crafting at home, in the classroom, or at a party, this project is sure to bring big smiles and even bigger creativity. Let’s get started and make some adorable love monsters together!

Craft Supplies:

  • Cardstock Paper – a light shade of pink is perfect!
  • Tulip Puffy Paint – think paint colors such as purple, red and pink
  • Various Sized Wiggle Eyes
  • School Glue
  • Embellishments

Directions:

  • Start by folding your piece of cardstock in half, then unfold it.
  • Squeeze some paint onto one side of the paper, keeping it close to the center.
  • Fold the paper back together and gently press down, squishing the paint inside.
  • Rub your hand over the folded paper to spread the paint evenly and create your design.
  • Carefully unfold the paper to reveal your unique paint splat creation!
  • To turn your design into a Puffy Paint Splat Monster, glue on wiggle eyes and cardstock facial features.
  • Set your masterpiece aside to dry completely.

Paper and Paint Splat Monsters

Learn how to make a Paint Splat Monster with just a few materials! Perfect for inspiring young minds and fostering creativity.

Here’s your checklist of supplies to bring this craft to life:

  • Cardstock Paper
  • Tulip Puffy Paint
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • School Glue
  • Scissors

Prepare your creative haven by laying down a protective cover before the crafting magic begins!

Directions:

  • First fold your piece of cardstock in half.
    Cardstock Paper
  • Unfold and squirt some paint on one side of the paper. Be sure to keep the paint close to the middle of the paper.
    Tulip Puffy Paint
  • Once the paint is down, go ahead and fold/squish your piece of paper together again.
  • Be sure to rub your hand all over the folded piece, so the paint will cover your design nicely.
  • Now carefully unfold your piece to reveal your design.
  • To finish the Puffy Paint Splat Monsters - glue on wiggle eyes and cardstock facial embellishments.

  • Then set aside to let it dry completely.
  • If you like - you can also cut out the finished design and display that way.
