Who says pizza is just for eating? With a few simple supplies, your little ones can build their very own “pizza” topped with hearts instead of pepperoni. This craft is perfect for Valentine’s Day, a cozy afternoon at home, or a fun classroom activity. It’s messy in the best way, and kids love showing off their tasty-looking creations. Craft Supplies:

A circle of brown cardboard (this becomes your crust)
Pinkish-red puffy paint (made by mixing school glue, shaving cream, and a little red or pink paint)
A paintbrush or craft stick
Yellow crinkle paper or shredded paper (your “cheese”)
Red heart-shaped felt pieces (the “pepperoni”)
School glue, like Elmer’s washable glue
A small bowl or cup for paint

Let’s Make a Pizza!
