Torn Paper Candy Corn Card Craft Idea For Halloween

Halloween is the perfect time for spooky stories, sweet treats, and creative fun! Getting crafty with your kids is a wonderful way to build excitement for the big night.

This torn paper candy corn card is a simple, engaging project that little hands will love. It’s a fantastic activity that helps develop fine motor skills while letting kids express their artistic side.

Torn Paper Candy Corn Card Craft Idea For Halloween

🎃 Get into the Halloween spirit with a super fun and easy craft for the kids! 🎃 Ready to make some memories? Grab your paper and glue and check out our tutorial for a festive afternoon of fun!

Craft Supplies:

Creating your torn paper candy corn card doesn’t require a long list of supplies. Here’s what you’ll need:

  • CANDY CORN PRINTABLE {on our landing page}
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Yellow and Orange Construction Paper
  • School Glue
  • Googly Eyes
  • Two Wooden Clothespins
  • Small Piece of Candy
  • Scissors

These materials are easy to find and likely already available in your home. If not, a quick trip to a craft store will set you up nicely.

Directions:

  • First download and print the FREE have a sweet Halloween card template listed above, on a single piece of white cardstock paper. You will need to print ONE for each craft you want to do with your child.
  • Now help your child cut/tear their yellow and orange construction paper into small pieces {keeping the colors separated.}
  • Next grab the school glue and put a good amount of glue in the two bottom sections of the candy corn design.
  • Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until each section is completely covered.
  • Next up – have kids “pinch” their piece of candy in between the two clothespins. You will want it to look like “hands” holding the candy.
  • Assist them on gluing it to the center of their torn paper design.
  • The final step is to add the googly eyes and any other embellishments they see fit.
  • Once done decorating, set aside to let it all dry completely before displaying/gifting proudly!
