Gather your materials before you start. Here’s a simple list of items to help you get everything you need for this Easter project:

  • Baby Chick Printable – from spring landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Colored Cardstock Paper
  • Crayons
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Ribbon
  • Embellishments

Directions:

Follow these easy steps with your little ones to create their adorable Easter Chick Hug.

  • First things first – print out the “hatching chick” printable, on a single sheet of white cardstock paper.
  • Decorate the shape with crayons and trim it out afterwards. Discard excess paper.
  • Next grab your second sheet of cardstock paper and pencil.
  • Trace your hand TWICE on the paper.
  • Trim out both designs.
  • Now grab the ribbon and cut off TWO long pieces.
  • To finish off the paper Easter chick hug craft, simply staple the ribbon and handprint cutouts to each side of the cutout.
  • Add any other embellishments to bring the baby chick to life.
  • Then display as is or gift away to spread some sunny cheer this spring season!
