Make Valentine’s Day special with this fun torn paper mushroom craft for kids. Easy, creative, and perfect for little hands. Find step-by-step instructions here!

Craft Supplies:

To get started, gather the following simple materials, most of which you probably already have at home:

  • “MUSHROOM” CARD PRINTABLE – from our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Red Construction Paper
  • School Glue
  • Washable White Craft Paint
  • Small Paper Plate
  • Embellishments

Directions:

Follow these simple steps to create an adorable torn paper mushroom craft:

  • First download and print out the FREE so MUSHROOM in my heart card printable listed above, on a single piece of white cardstock paper.
  • Now help your child cut/tear their sheet of red construction paper into small pieces.
  • Grab the school glue and help them put a good amount of it in the center of the mushroom cap design.
  • Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until it’s is completely filled in.
  • The final step is to add a few thumbprint “hearts” to tie the theme together. They can also add wiggle eyes and a smile if they choose.
  • And just like that, your Torn Paper “I have so much MUSHROOM in my heart for you” craft is complete! Set aside to let it all dry completely before displaying/gifting your child’s handmade red mushroom card proudly!
