To get started, gather the following simple materials, most of which you probably already have at home:
- “MUSHROOM” CARD PRINTABLE – from our landing page
- White Cardstock Paper
- Red Construction Paper
- School Glue
- Washable White Craft Paint
- Small Paper Plate
- Embellishments
Directions:
Follow these simple steps to create an adorable torn paper mushroom craft:
- First download and print out the FREE so MUSHROOM in my heart card printable listed above, on a single piece of white cardstock paper.
- Now help your child cut/tear their sheet of red construction paper into small pieces.
- Grab the school glue and help them put a good amount of it in the center of the mushroom cap design.
- Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until it’s is completely filled in.
- The final step is to add a few thumbprint “hearts” to tie the theme together. They can also add wiggle eyes and a smile if they choose.
