If you have a printer in your home – you are well on your way to making this DIY handprint fish keepsake craft come to life and creating a great one-of-a-kind paper piece that anyone can treasure for years to come {plus the finished fish bowl craft fits nicely in a scrapbook too!}

Swimming By - Handprint Fishbowl Keepsake

For this craft, you add materials to reflect personality and style, while still keeping the price on the cheap! We are talking CENTS to pull this DIY kid craft together today!

Craft Supplies:

  • Fish Printable – on our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Washable Craft Paint
  • Paper Plate
  • Paint Brush
  • Baby Wipes
  • Small Wiggle Eyes
  • Adhesive or Glue Stick

Directions:

  • First print out the free template printable on white cardstock paper.
  • Squirt some paint on a paper plate.
  • Paint one of your child’s hands and press it on the printable, right in the center of the “fishbowl.”
  • Clean off excess paint with a baby wipe.
  • Once done, set aside to let it dry completely.
  • Next add fish embellishments like the wiggle eye and lips.
  • If desired, add other embellishments you see fit {like glitter and scrapbook stickers!}
  • Then display/gift away your fish bowl handprint keepsake proudly!
