Handprint Valentine Owl Supplies:
* Free Valentine Owl Keepsake Printable {Download HERE}
* White Cardstock
* Color Printer
* Craft Paint {pick a color in the Valentine scheme – pink, purple, red, teal etc.}
* Paper Plate
* Paint Brush
* Baby Wipes
optional – glitter and scrapbook stickers
Directions:
* First download and print the free template printable on white cardstock.
* Squirt some paint on a paper plate.
* Paint one of your child’s hands and press it on the printable, next to the owl’s body. Repeat for the other hand/other side. Once done, set aside to let it dry completely.
* If desired, add other embellishments you see fit {like glitter and scrapbook stickers!}

Hi Peta – those are letter stickers that I put on myself. Since every child’s hand is a different size, I figured that was the easiest way for people to put the wording on and not have it interfere with the design of the owl. – Stacey
