Craft Supplies:
- Washable Ink Pads
- Cardstock Paper
- Cardstock Paper Cards
- Craft Scissors
- Glue Stick or Tape Runner Adhesive
- Colored Sharpie Markers
- Baby Wipes
- Embellishments
Directions:
- Use my pictures above for examples but basically you want to make some thumbprints on a piece of white cardstock {several in a staggered line so they aren’t on top of each other.}
- Use the baby wipes to remove excess ink from your fingers.
- After cleaning your fingers, grab your markers and draw on various embellishments to give each thumbprint the look of fish. Think fins and heart shaped mouths.
- When done decorating, trim down your paper piece to add it to a card front for easy mailing!!!
- Use markers or scrapbook stickers to add phrases like “swimming by to say” or “splashing you with lots of love” to the front of the card, to add a “punny” element to your handmade piece!
- Then get ready to gift and/or mail away your masterpieces!
- Repeat over and over again!!!
