Hi everyone! I’m excited to share an adorable and easy craft project your kids will have a blast making – thumbprint pineapple cards!

Paper crafts are a fun way for little hands to tap into their creativity, and this one incorporates the charm of everyone’s favorite tropical fruit in a unique way.

With just a few basic supplies I’ve found in my craft cabinet, your kids can make personalized cards for grandparents, friends or neighbors that will put a smile on their faces. The print from each little thumb adds a special, one-of-a-kind touch.

Get those little thumbs inky for an art project they’ll love making over and over again. Let me show you how easy it is to create these thumbprint pineapple cards!

Yellow Thumbprint Pineapple Cards - Kid Craft Idea

It’s summertime, and that means it’s time for crafting fun! Get the kids excited about their summer DIY project by having them make these adorable fingerprint pineapple cards – perfect for gifting or displaying around the house!

Craft Supplies:

  • Washable, Yellow Ink Pad
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Cardstock Card Fronts
  • Sharpie Markers
  • Baby Wipes
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Adhesive

Directions:

  • First things first, simply add one or several, yellow thumbprints on a piece of white cardstock paper.
  • Clean off ink from your fingers with a baby wipe {and a quick trip to the sink!}
  • When ready, now draw on pineapple features with your markers {like green leaf tops and black x’s for the pineapple’s texture.}
  • Trim down your white cardstock and adhere it to your cardstock card front.
  • Add any other embellishments you like and use your new paper pineapple stationery creations instantly!
