Coffee Filter Bunny Craft Idea for Kids

Are you looking for a fun and easy craft to do with kids? This Coffee Filter Bunny is perfect for Easter, springtime, or just a creative afternoon! Follow these simple steps to make your own adorable bunny on paper today!

Craft Supplies:

  • Coffee filter (2-3 per bunny)
  • Cardstock paper {white and pink}
  • Googly eyes (2 per bunny)
  • Pink heart-shaped jewel (for the nose)
  • Black marker
  • Elmer’s School Glue
  • Scissors

Directions:

  • First things first –  take your coffee filters and flatten them out with your hands. This will be the bunny’s head.
  • Stack the flatten coffee filters on top of each other and glue them in the center of your pink cardstock paper.
  • Next up – cut two elongated bunny ears from the remaining white cardstock paper.
  • Glue the ears behind the top of the coffee filter so they stick out.
  • Attach two googly eyes to the upper-middle part of the coffee filter.
  • Glue the pink heart-shaped jewel or bead below the eyes to create the bunny’s nose.
  • Use a black marker to write a playful message like “Some ‘bunny’ Loves You!” on the pink paper below the bunny’s head.
  • Let the glue dry completely before gifting and/or displaying proudly for all to see!
