Enter the Torn Paper Soda Bottle Craft Idea For Father’s Day. It uses simple household supplies like construction paper, paint, and school glue to build a highly textured, soda-themed card. Craft Supplies:

Before starting, gather the following supplies:

  • “AMAZING POP” PRINTABLE – from our landing page
  • White Cardstock Paper
  • Brown Construction Paper
  • Small Piece of Cardstock Paper {your choice of color}
  • School Glue
  • Washable Craft Paint
  • Embellishments

Directions:

This project is perfect for kids and creates a memorable keepsake for Dad or Grandpa.

  1. Download and print out the FREE you are soda bottle printable listed above, on a single piece of white cardstock paper.
  2. Help your child cut/tear their brown construction paper into small pieces.
  3. Grab the school glue and help them put a good amount inside the bottle design.
  4. Have children place their paper pieces on top of the glue {adding more if needed} until it’s completely filled in.
  5. Next up, cut a small rectangle out of the blue paper.
  6. Help children write “best pop” on it and instruct them to glue it to the center of the bottle design.
  7. Set out a small amount of red washable paint. Dip your child’s thumb into the red paint, then press it onto the card twice at a slight angle to form a heart shape. Repeat this to make several hearts floating around the bottle.
  8. The final step is to add any other embellishments they see fit and allow it to dry completely.
