Glow-In-The-Dark Mermaid Inspired Slime For Kids To Make
It ALL started with a trip to Michaels. Story of my craft life.
From there, I had this fun teal colored glow-in-the-dark glue from Elmer’s in my cart and one thing led to another and here we are today!
The wheels were spinning and since I absolutely LOVE mermaids, this is how it all unfolded.
If you or your child LOVE mermaids as much as I do, I hope this DIY post inspires you! You can check out my full tutorial below, on how I created my latest Mermaid Inspired Slime within minutes. MERMAID INSPIRED SLIME SUPPLIES:
* 1/4 cup Elmer’s Magical Liquid {affiliate link}
* 1 {5 fl oz} Elmer’s Teal Glow-In-The-Dark Colored Glue {affiliate link}
* Small Green/Blue/Purple Sequins/Glitter
Additional Supplies:
* 1 Bowl to mix your slime in
* 1/4 measuring cup
* Mixing Utensil {I prefer a spoon}
* Jar with Lid for storing
Adult supervision is required. This project is NOT appropriate for children under the age of three. Thoroughly wash your hands before and after making and playing with slime.
DIRECTIONS:
* First grab your mixing bowl and spoon. Pour out the entire contents of your 5oz bottle of Elmer’s Teal Colored Glue into the bowl.
* Next add in 1/4 cup of Elmer’s Magical Liquid slime solution, into the bowl and mix it together with the glue.
* Mix everything together, until well incorporated. You will notice the mixture becoming harder to mix and the slime will begin to form.
* At this point in time, add in your small colored sequins and glitter.
* Now take your slime out of the bowl and begin kneading it with both of your hands. Once it’s the consistency you like – play with it!
* When done, house it in a jar or plastic container, to create an everlasting mermaid inspired slime mixture!
