Food Coloring Dye or Kool-Aid Packages in various colors
Tap Water
Instructions:
The recipe is very simple. You basically mix 1 part corn starch to 1 equal part water in a large measuring cup - This makes it easier to pour later. The chalk mixture will be somewhat thick because of the corn starch, but just keep mixing until the mixture gets runny. A small whisk is great to mix the mixture and get rid of the thick clumps.
Next pour the chalk mixture into your muffin tin. Add the food coloring {or Kool-Aid packages} to get the colors you desire. If you don't have either, just leave the mixture the way it is. It's a fun, bright white that really pops on the concrete too.
Once you got the colors you want, hand it over to your child. They will know what to do!
Once the liquid chalk paint starts to dry, it makes really bright, vibrant colors on the concrete. And once you are done painting, just let it sit & wait for a rainy day to come or hose it off with the garden hose. The liquid chalk will wash away with ease and not leave any staining.I also noticed when my son got some on him, about 30 minutes later it just faded away. It didn't stain his skin but I would HIGHLY recommend wearing play clothes while painting with the liquid chalk paint just in case! And adults, don't forget to join in on the painting fun too! Let that inner artist out!!
