First print out our provided snowman poem file, on ONE single sheet of light blue cardstock paper {so the white paint really pops!} Print as many as you like - you only need one print per child though.
Next grab your white craft paint, paint brush and small paper plate.
Squirt a small amount of white paint on the paper plate.
Now pick a hand - either hand will do!
Paint the palm of your child's hand completely white with the craft paint.
Working fast, press the hand down in the center of the printed poem printable. Carefully wiggle each finger so the paint really transfers onto the paper.
When ready, gently lift up their hand carefully from the paper to reveal their painted handprint.
Remove excess paint from your child's hand with a few baby wipes and a quick trip to the sink.
Now grab your Sharpie markers and give the white handprint the look of a gang of snowmen together. Each finger will get a black hat on the fingers tips and then some dots & a triangle carrot nose below each one. You could also get some paper scraps & glue them on instead.
When done decorating each finger, set aside the decorated printable in an undisturbed area to let it dry completely.
Before you display or gift it away proudly, add other embellishments you see fit, as well as having children sign the bottom.
