First grab the provided "to the moon and back" printable, listed above in the supply list.
Print it in color on a single sheet of white cardstock. You only need one print per keepsake craft.
Next up grab your gray craft paint, paint brush and paper plate.
Squirt some paint on the paper plate.
Pick a hand and tell your child to keep their fingers flat but together tightly.
Paint your child's hand completely gray and press it under the astronaut's helmet in the printable. You will want the fingertips to go outward from the helmet, to create the body.
Use the baby wipes to remove excess paint from their hand and send them to the sink for a quick wash.
Set aside the printable to let the paint dry completely.
Now the fun part! Grab crayons and/or markers & have your child color in the small space themed sections in the printable. Just like a coloring page - go to town!
Finally, add other embellishments you see fit {like some gold star stickers} as well as having children sign their name in the blank spot, towards the top of the print.
Then display/gift away your child's "I Love You To The Moon and Back!" print proudly!
