First things first - squirt your yellow craft paint on a paper plate.
Take the large foam paint brush and dip it in the paint.
Now pick a hand - any hand! Simply paint your child’s hand completely yellow and press it in the center of a sheet of white cardstock paper.
Gently lift up their hand to reveal the handprint design underneath.
Clean off excess paint from their hand with a few baby wipes and a quick trip to the sink.
Now to give the handprint design the look of a chick! Squirt the remaining craft paint colors on the same paper plate.
Using small paint brushes, draw on facial features and some legs.
When done painting, set aside to let it dry completely.
Once dry, trim down the white piece of paper {with the handprint chick} and glue it to another piece of colored cardstock, that is folded in half.
To finish the Chick Handprint Card, add your scrapbook stickers to say “A Little Chick Told Me” on the front. Go ahead and also add a special message like "It's Easter - Happy celebrating!" inside, to tie it all together.
Then slip it in an envelope for easy mailing.
Other messages to include are "It's your birthday!" "You were feeling under the weather - get well soon!" "That you need a pick me up!" "That you are awesome!" "That you are a year older!"
