First things - the apple prints! Grab your apple, the knife, your choice of color in craft paint, small paper plate and your single sheet of white cardstock paper.
With ADULT SUPERVISION, cut the apple in half. Straight down the center. Save one half for today's craft and the other for a quick snack. Your apple half will be your stamp now.
Squirt some craft paint on the paper plate.
Rub the apple in the paint, until it's completely covered.
Now stamp it on the paper to make a flower petal. Repeat rubbing the apple in the paint and stamping it on the paper, until you have about 6-8 prints. Make sure you leave room between each one so you can cut them out later.
When done with the stamping, set aside the paper with the stamped prints, to allow it to dry completely.
Discard the apple half with the craft paint.
Next up - grab your sheet of colored cardstock, the yellow cupcake liner and the glue stick.
Have children flatten out and glue down their yellow cupcake liner to the center of the cardstock.
Now grab the stamped prints from earlier and your scissors.
Cut out each "stamped" design from the paper.
Go ahead and glue those around the yellow cupcake liner to create a flower design.
To finish off the Apple Stamped Flower, draw a stem with your green Sharpie marker coming from the yellow cupcake liner and add other embellishments to really give the flower life {maybe a nice smile like we did!}
Now display your beautiful apple print flower piece for ALL to see!
