First tear off the lid from the egg carton. Cut it in half. This is the body for two owls.

Now you will want to trim down the other egg carton piece {the one with the compartments} to give the look of the eyes/nose of an owl {see the above picture for example}

When you have your pieces cut out, be sure to also paint the nose and glue on the eyes in their designated spot.

Next have children glue on the owl's feathers to the lid portion of the egg carton.

To finish off the craft, glue on the eyes/nose portion to the egg carton lid with the feathers, to complete your owl.

Then add other embellishments that you see fit or go straight to showing them off!
