First roll out your clay on a flat surface {about 1/4" thickness}

Using your cookie cutters, cut out heart shapes from the clay and set aside.

Have your child press their thumb twice into the clay piece, to create a heart imprint. Repeat for each piece.

Once done, set all your pieces aside to let them dry/harden {takes about a day}

To finish off your Thumbprint Heart Magnets, have children personalize them with paint or other embellishments.

Once done, hot glue the magnets to the back of the clay shaped hearts and package them up for easy gifting.
