First assemble the base of your pilgrim hat. For this, simply lay your 10 regular sized popsicle sticks next to each other in a line and glue the two remaining jumbo sticks the other direction, near the bottom to make the hat's rim {see image for example}

Set aside to let it dry completely {repeat for each hat}

Next have your child paint the front of their popsicle stick piece completely black.

Set aside to let it dry completely.

Now cut out the cardstock embellishments to decorate the hat {white strip and a yellow buckle}

To finish off the Popsicle Stick Pilgrim Hat craft, glue on the paper embellishments and let it all dry completely, before displaying proudly!
