First turn your terra cotta pot upside down on a paper plate.

Have your child paint their pot completely pink {or however they like!}

When done painting, set it aside to let it dry completely.

While the paint is drying, trace your child's hands on the cardstock paper.

Trim out the two handprint designs.

Add some cardstock hearts or stickers on them. These are now the Love Bug's wings.

Next get your glue gun hot and ready.

Bend your pipe cleaner in half and glue it, along with some wiggle eyes and your handprint wings onto the terra cotta pot.

Finish off with drawn on smile and any other embellishments if you like.
