First take the cardboard egg carton and separate the lid from the compartment section.

Discard the lid piece {or save it for another awesome craft project!}

Now you are left with the section that has all the compartments. We are going to make your fox friend from either END of the egg carton.

Pick one of the ends of the egg carton and cut off a section that is TWO pieces across. This is the head of the fox {see my picture for an example.}

Trim off anything excess from your section to make it more even.

Now squirt your craft paint on the paper plate.

Use the paint brush to paint the egg carton piece completely with the craft paint.

Set it aside to allow it to dry a bit.

Next up - some cutting! Grab your two colors of cardstock paper and scissors.

Cut off TWO triangle ears for your fox out of the colored cardstock.

Follow that up by cutting out TWO smaller triangle pieces from the white cardstock, that will fit inside the first set of paper pieces.

Now get the glue gun hot and ready.

To finish off the Egg Carton Fox craft, start off by hot gluing the triangle ears in place on the painted egg carton section and then follow up with the pom pom nose and wiggle eyes.

And that's it! You can of course add any other embellishments you see fit. But here, you will allow it to dry completely before you display it proudly!
