First the fun part! Have children draw {or paint} the handle of the wooden spoon however they like to represent the body.

Once done, set aside to let it dry completely.

While children are working on that – punch out a chef hat and mustache out of your cardstock, using the paper punch {or restyle it and cut it out by hand}

To finish off the Wooden Spoon Chef – simply glue the paper pieces to the wooden spoon and add other embellishments you see fit {like glitter, rhinestones etc.}

To display, you can add magnets to the back, stick it in a flower pot or hot glue some string for easy hanging!
