First squirt some craft paint on the paper plate.

Next have children paint the larger spoon potion with some yellow paint.

Follow that up with a few thin black stripes. This is now the body of the bee.

Once done painting, set it aside to let it dry completely. Repeat for each spoon puppet you want to make today.

While they are working on that – cut out some antennas, a head and wings from the colored cardstock. Repeat for each bee you are making.

To finish off the Wooden Spoon Bee – simply glue the cardstock pieces in place and add the wiggle eyes so they can see.

Then add other embellishments you see fit {like glitter, rhinestones etc}

To display, you can add magnets to the back or hot glue some string for easy hanging!
