Instructions
First print out our provided printable, in color, on a single sheet of brown cardstock paper. You only need one print per craft.
Now we are ready to trim out the pinecone shape from the paper.
Discard excess paper when done cutting.
Next grab a piece of cardstock paper for the owl wings and your pencil.
Lay both of your child's hands FLAT on the paper and trace around each of them.
When done tracing, trim out the handprint designs from the paper. This will give you TWO wings for the owl.
Next up, out of the remaining pieces of paper, punch/cut out his eyes and triangle nose.
Now you are ready to assemble it all together.
Start off my gluing down the handprint cutouts onto pinecone design {right along the edge - on each side.}
Follow up that step by gluing down the eyes and the triangle nose.
To finish off your Paper Pine Cone Owl Keepsake, use a Sharpie marker to draw in the pupils so the owl can see.
Now you can stop here or add any other embellishments you see fit, to give it a creative spin.
Then display your handprint owl pine cone paper piece proudly for ALL to see!!
