Popsicle Stick Leprechaun Hat
Tools:
- School Glue
- Paint Brush
- Scissors
Supplies:
- Jumbo Popsicle Sticks
- Regular Sized Popsicle Sticks
- Craft Paint
- Cardstock Paper
- Small Shamrock Stickers
- Loose Craft Glitter
Instructions:
- First assemble the base of your hat by gluing together the popsicle sticks. Lay the THREE jumbo sticks next to each other {side by side} and then glue the FOUR regular sized popsicle sticks towards the bottom, going the other direction.
- Repeat for each hat craft you want to make. Once done, set aside to let it dry completely.
- Next is the paint! Have children paint their popsicle stick shape completely green and finishing off with some green glitter on top while the paint is still wet.
- Again, set aside to let it dry completely.
- Now grab the yellow cardstock and your scissors.
- Go ahead and cut out a simple strip to go in the center of the hat {or any other shape you like!}
- To finish off the Popsicle Stick Leprechaun Hat craft, glue on your cardstock piece, as well as a shamrock in the center.
- Then let it dry completely before displaying proudly!!!
