First trim down a sheet of white cardstock to fit to the front of your card front. This will be where you stamp your flowers. You can use scissors or a paper trimmer for this step. You will want the white cardstock piece to be slightly smaller than the folded card, so you have some color around the edges. Glue the freshly cut piece to the card front. Repeat for each card you are making.
Next grab your paper plate and craft paint. Squirt the various colors on the plate.
Grab your forks and lay one in each paint color choice.
One by one, holding it by the handle, carefully move your fork around in your paint choice, until the bottom of the fork has a good layer of paint on it. Now lift it up and press the fork in the center of the white cardstock to make the "flower" top part {just like a stamp - rock it gently back & forth!} Repeat this technique various times to make several flowers on your paper card.
If desired, sprinkle some glitter on top of the wet paint. Once done, set aside your printed piece to let it dry completely.
* While you are waiting for the paint to dry, go ahead and clean off your forks with soap and water {or throw them away if you like!}
Next take your green sharpie marker and draw "flower stems" coming from the stamped fork marks.
Finish off your Flower Cards by gluing on other embellishments you see fit.
Then write a sweet message on the inside, before mailing away!
